Let's talk about exactly where my money is. I could easily blog vaguely about how I handle certain financial situations, but then I wouldn't be of very much help. Here's my current situation as of 07/09/2014.
SAVINGS:
$2,182 in a Bank of America savings account (.01% interest)
$4,000 in a Ally.com savings account (just put this money here, 1% interest)
^^These accounts are my emergency fund/safety net
about $6,000 in a trust invested by a financial advisor
^^ (set up by my parents with money from my deseased grandmother. This account originally had 250k in it, which I spent almost entirely on my education. Seriously thankful for the money I was given, because it allowed me to have an amazing education experience following my dreams and such. I am not allowed to access this money directly, I must make a request to my parents and may only use it for school, housing, or necessities of life)
